Kyooty does something called Friday Fill-Ins and I thought I’d just go on a give it a try this week.

1. One week ago __I felt a lot more optimistic than I do today. __.
2. ____I wish I knew now what I knew ______ when I was young. (And no, I didn’t get that backwards. I meant it that way.)
3. Mama told me ___“Don’t make your guest room too comfortable or they’ll never leave.” _____.
4. _____I like this bloggy relationship between______ you and me.
5. Take your time ____and enjoy every second of your children while they are growing up. In the blink of an eye, they are adults. That doesn’t mean that they’ll move out and go away … just that they are adults. Probably adults who move their fiancee into your home and then bring a baby in too. Oh yeah, and their dog. And they might even have the nerve to say that they’d like to get a puppy! ______.
6. ____I’m really hoping that some worries in family______ will pass!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to __getting in to some yoga pants, catching up on some TIVO’d shows (especially the second half of Grey’s) and getting a good night’s sleep. I get to wait for the Directv guy on Saturday morning. It’s an exciting life I lead. It’s ok to admit that your jealous!___.

Does it seem to anyone else that the last couple of weeks have felt like the longest weeks ever? As pityful as this sounds this is, usually once the fall tv season kicks up and I have something to look forward to at night, the week seems to go by a bit faster … yet, the weeks are dragging by.

Fantastic Forrest
A puppy too? Please tell me they were joking!
Stand firm, Tired Wife. That baby of indeterminate sex (I think it’s a girl from all the waving hello during the ultrasound) will keep those two plenty busy enough.

Not joking and standing totally firm.
Yes, the little one does seem to be very social!

Yoga pants and Gray’s Anatomy sounds like the best night ever. Especially if I glass of wine is involved.

We’ll settle down on the TV talk after the new season gets underway. And yes … there was talk of a puppy … but momma quickly said “No way!”

I love your mother’s advice.
My dad used to use the statement: “After three days fish and visitors smell.”
(Loved all of your answers.)

I keep meaning to try the Friday Fill-Ins, because I am so strapped for content these days.
I know what you mean about the kids growing up. Mine are teenagers already! I really don’t know how that happened.

So, how’d you like Grey’s? Did you get to watch it? I haven’t been around the blogosphere since there are usually spoilers and I didn’t watch it till tonight.

I liked it. I agree with what some have said … that it was more like a regular show than a season premiere … but I still liked it. I understand the lack of falling down on the floor type of grieving … they deal with death everyday … they HAVE to have walls where death is concerned. I’m probably quite wharped, but I loved (and completely understood) when the gang started laughing at George’s funeral. I also think they had to struggle to keep Meridith hidden (with her real life pregnancy) and that cramped them up a little. I think Baily is going to be the one to watch this season. And what did you think my friend, Casey?
