It’s on the news today that a Titanic memorial cruise will set sail in April 2012 retracing the route taken 100 years ago.    The cruise will depart from Southampton, England on April 8, just as the Titanic did and will end in New York – where the Titanic was headed.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t think I’d be willing to go on that cruise.  Could you?

I do not approve of cheating on spouse under any circumstances.   It’s a decision that one makes.   It is a choice.   It is not something that “just happens.”   I do, however, believe that people make mistakes and can change – so trust me, this isn’t a bashing thing.   What is IS is the lead-in to offering kudos to David Letterman.    A CBS producer is accused of threatening to go public with the embarrassing information about Letterman’s private life, unless Letterman paid $2 million.  And Letterman stopped the threat to “go public” by spilling the story himself first.

Letterman has a very long road to go to try to repair his marriage.   He may or may not be able to do it.   I tried to forgive my ex after he cheated on me.   I might have done a better job had he actually STOPPED cheating on me while we were supposedly rebuilding our marriage.     I wish the Letterman’s the best.

Last night as I was sitting on my bed getting ready to drool over watch House, my son’s fiancee came in with her dinner and sat down on the bed with me to talk.   My son was next in.    They ate their dinner sitting on my bed talking with me.   And it was nice.    It’s the day-to-day times like those that mean so much to me.

Note to self:   7 layer magic bars for breakfast make for a queasy tummy.   Don’t do that again.
