Did your husband ever acknowledge that you were correct and he was WRONG? I’m married to a geographer, so this isn’t the sort of thing we argue about, but we do have our moments. We’re usually able to resolve our disagreements with the great adjudicator, the google machine.

You’re obviously right that it is lighter in the morning after we adjust our clocks. But it feels like a temporary improvement. Although we’ve enjoyed not getting up in the dark, we don’t like the earlier darkness. And let’s not forget that the days are getting shorter on both ends until December 18th or so. I hate the time change. It’s like eternal darkness for me. I get up when it’s dark, and by the time I get home—it’s dark again! All my sunshine is wasted because I’m inside my office all day. This makes me even bitchier.

Geek Boy does that explaining thing too. He usually stops after I threaten him with bodily harm.
